At Paxton LLC, our purpose is simple: develop thoughtful horse‑rider partnerships and elevate competitive performance through correct training, integrity, and exceptional horsemanship. Based at Caldecott Stables in Briones, CA, we offer a high‑touch program for hunter, jumper, and equitation riders who value precision, progress, and the well‑being of their horses.

Our Story

Founded in 2021, Paxton LLC is the realization of Dana Robinson’s lifelong vision: a boutique training and sales program that blends top‑tier education with an unwavering commitment to horse welfare and rider growth.


Dana’s path began at Hobby Horse Farm near Erie, PA, continued through formative years in the Midwest (Topeka and Kansas City), and accelerated as she advanced from the hunters and equitation into the 1.20–1.40m junior and amateur jumpers. After graduating from the University of Kansas, she refined her skills in Los Angeles and later in Wellington, FL, learning within world‑class programs, including time with Kent Farrington, then the world’s #1 ranked rider. She returned to Northern California to open Paxton LLC: a program built on professionalism, honesty, and the pursuit of excellent riding.

Dana brings a broad perspective shaped by years of competing, riding professionally, and working across premier circuits in the Midwest, Wellington, Lexington, Canada, Northern and Southern California. Her approach is:


  • Technical: prioritizing flatwork, adjustability, and balance as the foundation for success over fences.
  • Strategic: planning goals, building show calendars, and coaching riders to ride smarter—before, during, and after the round.
  • Holistic: centering horse welfare and rider education—because confident, informed riders create confident, willing horses.


Dana’s mission: to develop riders and horses to their highest potential—while instilling a lasting respect for the craft of horsemanship.



Dana is the Head Coach of the IHSA Cal Equestrian Club Team, leading riders with a focus on strong fundamentals, confidence, and a passion for the sport.
